Timber Drive

This woodcut print depicts an architect's home in Western Massachusetts. The piece was commissioned by his wife as a gift, so it was important that the design elements of the house be the focus. I made sure to capture the fine brickwork and detail of the facade as well as the differentiation between the details of the brick and roof compared to the surrounding landscape. Printed on Stonehenge wheat paper in a cream color that gives the print warmth and allows the line work to breath.
