Printmaking

Specializing in relief and monotype, I like to work reductively, letting the forms emerge from the shapes around them. I’m drawn to the spaces between things: the quiet tension of power lines, the stark contrast of silhouettes, where architecture and nature meet.

  • Herman

Home is wherever you roam. A whimsical woodcut print of Herman the hermit crab. Created over the course of two months, it was proofed for a BIG INK event.

  • Jonesy and the Xenomorph

A tribute to H.R. Giger’s Alien and his feline companion, Jonesy. Maybe the big chap is just a little misunderstood.

  • India Series

A series of woodcut prints inspired by my time spent in India. Three compositions capturing street-level scenes from daily life, presented in three distinct color variations.

  • New England Landscapes Series I

Monotype series inspired by my commute through the Pioneer Valley. Capturing the narrative of travel using bold contrast and heavy ink.

  • New England Landscapes Series II

Monotype series building on earlier work, exploring larger scale and layered colors, adding new depth and subtlety to the landscapes.

  • New England Landscapes Series III

The continuing monotype series where color takes center stage, used more boldly than before, to create dynamic, vibrant landscapes.
